The India Business Literature Festival (IBLF) returns this year with a fresh lineup of distinguished business authors, each having significantly contributed to business thought and practice. The inaugural edition of the festival in 2018 witnessed tremendous success, bringing together top business authors in an event hosted at the College of Engineering, Pune.
Conceived by Sameer Dua, Founder Director of the Institute for Generative Leadership and a bestselling business author; Aruna Katara, President of Hope Foundation and I2IT, a leading engineering college in India; and Anurag Batra, Chairperson and Editor in Chief of BW BusinessWorld, the India Business Literature Festival has quickly become a unique platform for business authors to showcase their impactful work, influencing both business theory and practice.
Sameer Dua, also the Chief Curator of IBLF, expressed excitement about this year’s author lineup, describing it as fabulous. Aruna Katara emphasized the festival’s emergence as a distinctive platform for business authors to present literature shaping the business landscape and nurturing a passion for business writing and reading. She detailed the event’s format, drawing a parallel to TED/TEDx events, where each author is allotted a maximum of 18 minutes to powerfully convey their ideas, ensuring a captivating day-long session for the audience.
Dr. Annurag Batra highlighted the positive response from authors and publishing companies, considering it a testament to the necessity of a festival dedicated to business literature. He emphasized the unique format of the event, predicting that people will increasingly look up to the India Business Literature Festival for high-quality content.
